Busy, busy, busy…

Am I insane? This is the busiest time of the year for me and here I am starting a new website, shop and everything else.

It’s been a long time coming really, the change from the old me, to a new ‘me’, this time though, I’m taking my time, getting things right and, well… I was talking about being busy.

I’m getting ready for a fabulous week in Northampton, ok, not the jazziest of locations, but by far the best week of my year.

The Enabled Extravaganza is a week long holiday for disabled adults, run by the Salvation Army.

Here’s a long Highlights video of last years event…

The Salvation Army’s Enabled community is a great supportive group of people. We have an online community, community events, training and advising churches on disability inclusion and the yearly extravaganza week.

And so I’m busy planning craft activities for the week.

This year I’m also helping with the art exhibition at the Salvation Army’s Together ’25 celebration, There’s no gap in between the events, as one ends on Sunday lunchtime in Birmingham, the other begins Sunday evening in Northampton.

Thankfully the same crafts are planned for the events and they happen to be my current favourite crafts, Slow Stitching.

Anyway, it’s not a long post, but hopefully it was at least a tiny bit interesting. If you are interested in the Enabled community they have a facebook group and thats a good place to start to get involved.
